Did You Know You Can Get Away to Snoqualmie Pass for Just $45 a Night?

Yes, you read that right! One of the great perks of being a Sons of Norway member is having access to Trollhaugen Lodge at Snoqualmie Pass.

We had the pleasure of visiting Trollhaugen for the second time this past July. Our first visit was during the winter for their annual cross-country ski race. This time, five couples from our lodge headed up for the District 2 Steak Fry on July 18, and several of us made a night of it and stayed over.

If you’re not familiar with Trollhaugen, it was built in 1972 and is owned and operated by District 2, which our lodge is part of. It sleeps more than 50 people and has a large living room, two fireplaces, a ping-pong table, ski rentals, a hot tub, horseshoes and more. There are nearby spots for fishing, and the lodge sits next to a great trail system for hiking, biking and, of course, skiing.

There’s also some fascinating history behind Trollhaugen and its founding members. You can learn more about the lodge, its history and how to book a stay at www.trollhaugensofn.com.

Having Trollhaugen available to us is such a wonderful benefit of membership. The lodge is cared for by a dedicated group of volunteers who work hard to keep everything maintained and running smoothly—and what do they ask in return? That we use it! Not a bad deal.

So, the next time you’re looking for a fun, easy and budget-friendly mountain getaway, consider booking a stay at Trollhaugen. At just $45 a night, it might be one of the best-kept secrets of your Sons of Norway membership!

Tusen Takk!
