Save the Date! Lutefisk Feast 2027

Mark your calendars! The date for our upcoming Lutefisk Feast has been set — January 23, 2027!

This is an important event for our lodge. Not only is it a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and share an important Norwegian tradition and cultural heritage, but it also helps give our lodge’s balance sheet a nice boost to the new year.

As in previous years, we plan to offer three seatings: late morning, mid-afternoon, and afternoon. The meal will feature lutefisk, homemade meatballs, traditional sides, and dessert. Adding to the celebration, the Leikarringen dancers and musicians will entertain us during each seating.

As your VP, it’s my turn to lead this event. But an event of this size is only possible because of the experience, dedication, and support of our many leads and volunteers. With many new members joining us in September, this is a great opportunity for you to jump in, get involved, and learn more about what makes our lodge special. Whether you’re a seasoned Lutefisk volunteer or this is your first time helping, there will be a place for you!

Keep your eyes open for the Lutefisk SignUpGenius, which will be sent out in the next couple of months. We’re looking forward to another wonderful Lutefisk Feast — and we hope you’ll be part of making it a success!

Merch Update: Our New Merch Store Is Here!

No more waiting a year or two for the next lodge merchandise promotion — our new merch store is finally here!

Launching September 12, the store will feature nearly 40 items, including T-shirts, ¼-zip sweatshirts, hoodies, mugs, pint glasses, hats, and more.

You’ll also be able to choose from several logo options representing Poulsbo Sons of Norway, Trolls Den, Vikings, and the Adventurers’ Club, so there’s something for everyone.

All merchandise will be made to order, meaning there’s no need to wait for a special group order. Simply place your order online, and your items will typically ship within 1–2 weeks. The store will launch on September 12, and you’ll find the link right on the Poulsbo Sons of Norway website homepage.

New gear, new options, no more waiting — we hope you find something you love!

Today, we celebrate Koleen and the incredible nine years she has given to the Sons of Norway family. Koleen, it is difficult to put into words just how much you have meant to our lodge over the years. As our Bar Manager, you became a familiar face, and a presence, who helped make our lodge feel like home. Through busy evenings, special events, celebrations, and everyday gatherings, your work and dedication was felt by everyone who walked through our doors.  The friendships you have built over these nine years and the connections you formed have enriched our lodge and strengthened the sense of community that lies at the heart of the Sons of Norway. August: Reminders to Members

All members in good standing of the Poulsbo Sons of Norway lodge are EQUAL!  Though members’ past actions are always greatly appreciated, no member is entitled to special consideration because of previous generous acts. Members who wish to request special consideration must contact the current President and/or Secretary of the Board of Directors to request time on the board agenda. Members who need documents, research, or direct one-on-one attention from the Office Manager or the Bar Manager must be considerate and make an appointment.  Do not just pop into the office or bar.   “Quick drop ins” only will be accepted by the Office Manager in the lodge office from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Tuesday through Friday.  Please do NOT drop in before 10:00 am.
